We stayed at the Beitostolen Hytter for one night during our hike to Besseggen Ridge. The location was perfect, and the campsite offered a variety of cute lodging options. The host was incredibly friendly and accommodating, waiting for us even though we arrived late. He even guided us to our apartment in the dark and rainy weather. The apartment itself was lovely, with comfortable beds and basic utensils for cooking. The heaters worked well during the cold nights, and the convenience of nearby grocery shopping made our stay even easier. a great experience.
100% Recommend this hotel.

I really appreciated the cozy and charming atmosphere of the hotel. The interior decoration had a lovely traditional touch, with warm colors and rustic furniture. It made me feel at home and gave me a sense of comfort and nostalgia. The common areas were also very accessible for senior people like myself, with wide hallways, well-lit spaces, and handrails for support. It made navigating around the hotel much easier and safer for me.
I would have loved to have more organized activities or entertainment options specifically designed for senior guests. It would have been nice to have some gentle exercise classes or social gatherings to meet other seniors and engage in leisure activities together.

The unit I stayed in at Beitostolen Hytter was cozy and comfortable, with a private bathroom and a refreshing shower to start my day. The bedroom had a comfortable double bed where I could relax and get a good night's sleep. I loved having a private entrance, it made me feel like I had my own little retreat. The balcony was a great bonus, allowing me to enjoy the fresh mountain air and beautiful views. I also noticed that some units had a terrace, which would be perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or an evening drink surrounded by nature.
I'm not a big fan of terraces, but I understand that others might find them enjoyable.

I had a wonderful stay at Beitostolen Hytter. The location was perfect for my hike to Besseggen Ridge the next day. The cabin was warm, cozy, and provided all the basic amenities I needed. The host was incredibly friendly and accommodating, even waiting for me when I arrived late in the evening. Despite the initial difficulty in finding the apartment due to the lack of street lighting, the host went out of their way to lead me to the right place. I highly recommend this place for its great location, friendly staff, and value for money.
